Anheuser Bush Classic Collection 1989 Gerz Stein St Louis Brewery c.1890s

Description

The item for sale is beautifully decorated pewter and ceramic lidded beer stein that was made for Anheuser - Busch around the last decades of the twentieth century.   The manufacturer is Gerz in Germany.  The 94% zinc lid is marked by Gerz on the inside.  The subject of the stein is the St Louis Brewery during the 1890s.  The stein has slightly embossed colorful decoration depicting a wrap around view of the interior of the brewery.  The stein is from Classic Collection series.  The stein was previously owned.  There is no damage.  The previous owner did not use the stein for any purpose other than decorative. The pewter zinc lid has a grey patina. There is no box.  The length, width and height are 5 1/4" x 4" x 8".
